Update
Jobs!
The Stimulus Money from the Federal Government is starting to get to school districts. There will be job openings in Title I schools as well as additional openings for Special Education teachers in Title I and Non Title Schools.
Now is the time to send e-mails to principals and remind them that you are interested in a job at their school. Be sure to attach your resume and then follow up with a handwritten card a few days later thanking them for taking the time to look over your resume. Your application must be complete with the school district in which you are seeking employment. Check with the Human Resources Department to make sure it is complete.
Certification
We are in the process of putting all of the certification information together and adding the final PLUs. If you receive a call from my office, please be sure to get the required information to me asap.
